These terms and conditions are applied to all our services directly or indirectly (through distributors) made available online, by email or by telephone. By accessing, browsing and using our website and/or by completing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below (including the privacy statement).

The terms and conditions as set out hereunder constitute the entire agreement between you and us If you do not read or accept these terms and conditions, do not use this website (the “service”). By accessing any part of the govntravel.com website, you consent to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Payment and Deposit

To ensure each party is responsible for fulfilling any of its obligations, we set out below our standard payment terms and conditions:

Deposit: Either full payment or a deposit of 50% of total cost will be required and decided base on individual tour basis. This should be done via one of our available online payment methods.
Customers will receive confirmation documents or vouchers within 24 hours after we have received the deposit.

Final Payment: Full payment is due at least 1 day prior to your scheduled arrival in Vietnam. Payment by cash or credit cards both are accepted.

Cancellations & Refund

CANCELLATION MADE BY THE CUSTOMER
For certain reasons, if The Customer has to cancel his booked tour/travel services with GOVNTRAVEL, we will obviously be sorry not to be able to serve you and will accept the cancellation subject to the cancellation fees and conditions as listed below:

  • For Bus and rental car booking
    • More than 10 days prior to your departure day: $3/person as service fee
    • Between 5 and 10 days prior: 30% of the total price or deposit is forfeited
    • Between 2 and 5 days prior: 50% of the total price is charged
    • 2 days prior: 100% of total price is charged
  • For Train tickets booking
    • More than 15 days before arrival: A refund is possible but with 20% of the total price charged as a handling fee
    • 15 days to 8 days before departure date: 50% of total price will be refunded;
    • Within 8 days before departure date: No refund;
    • Passenger not showing up: No refund
  • For Tour and package tour
    • More than 30 days prior to your departure day: $5/person as service fee
    • Between 10 and 30 days prior: 35% of the total price or deposit is forfeited
    • Between 3 and 10 days prior: 50% of the total price is charged
    • 3 days prior: 100% of total price is charged
  • For any service booking on the holiday time will be surcharged 30% for period:  TET holiday, New Year, Christmas, Independent days, Hung King’s death anniversary, Vietnam liberation day, international labor day, we can not do any cancel and refund.

REFUND OF UNUSED SERVICES
No refunds or exchanges can be made in respect of services which are included in the price but not utilized by the customer, such as there will be no refund given for any unused or missed ground arrangements, sightseeing, meals or hotel accommodations. For no-show cases full amount will be charged.

Alternatives

Whilst we manage to reserve all the suggested services for our clients, in case of transportation accommodation is fully booked, we reserve the right to make changes to services with equivalent quality. In these cases, we will always try our best to inform you about the changes as soon as possible.

If we are unable to provide confirmed services, an alternative option or an alternative departure date will be offered subject to availability. If you don’t accept the alternative option or don’t want to change the date, we will refund your deposit.

Best price guarantee

The prices on our website are including VAT (Value-Added Tax) and service charges, but are not total of payment you must pay. Prices excludes bank charge and other services is not mentioned.

We want you to pay the lowest price possible for your vacation on Vietnam. Should you find your cruise cabin, hotel room with the same booking conditions, at a lower rate on the Internet after you have made a booking through us, we will match the difference between our rate and the lower rate.

We guarantee our price is THE BEST. If a client can find a lower price than we offer in our website we will match it.

Condition for matching a price: the price is public on the web, the product has to be the same (same conditions and same booking conditions). Submit a claim it is possible only before the payment or one day after.

We will not match those prices that are not public or offered by email. Also, we will not match a lower price after one day of the payment.

Quality guarantee

Our every single partner is handpicked carefully and seriously to make sure you will have the most comfortable and pleased stay. We make inspections of all our products and services regularly. In the case our services does not match your expectations, we will figure out the reasons in order to compensate your dissatisfaction.

Money back guarantee

In case the service we provide isn’t qualified enough, except for out-of-control situations such as weather conditions, we receive and appreciate all your comments. With the highest respect, we will investigate your case and will offer the reimbursement once your complain is rational.

Frequently asked questions

We want to ensure you have your contact details up-to-date, so all changes are free. Don’t forget to add your phone number so that you can receive trip updates via SMS. To edit a passenger’s name, click on "Edit/Remove Passengers". To edit the contact details of the main traveler, click on "Edit Contact Details".

To change the date or time of your trip, click on "Change Departure Date/Time" and confirm the new selection. Keep in mind that the departure time must be +15 min from the time of your confirmation. To choose a new departure or arrival destination, you must cancel your trip and book a new one.

You can reserve your seat for additional comfort or make sure you all sit together in case of a group booking. You can also add new stored or bulky baggage at any time.

If you have to cancel your trip or part of it, refund options will be presented according to the conditions in the market you are traveling. To cancel your entire booking or part of your trip, click on "Cancel Trip(s)". To remove passengers from your booking, click on "Edit/Remove Passengers". To cancel added seats or baggage, click on "Cancel baggage/Extras".

Reserved seats are not assigned to certain persons in your booking.

You are allowed to bring excess baggage. The number of pieces allowed is subject to the baggage compartment capacity of the bus line operating the trip.

No, we do not transport animals on our buses, with the exception of service animals for persons with disabilities.
